Summary
Christmas Greetings Card - The white envelope that has been opened via a slit in the top and holds nineteen Christmas cards dating to 1985. White paper envelope of diamond construction with 'CHRISTMAS CARDS 1985' handwritten over the top of everything on the front by William Jnr. In the centre in black ink is handwritten the address; 'W. Straw Esq., 7, Blyth Grove, Blyth Road, Worksop, Notts.'. In the top right corner a clear circular black postal stamp 'OXFORD 16 DEC 1985 8' next to which is an oblong postage stamp with a gold five pointed star in which is a blue '12' in the top right corner of the design. The main picture is of the pantomime Principle Boy printed in multi colours and the head of Queen Elizabeth II in the top left corner in blue. The postal stamp over the top is a black oblong box with the image of an open envelope and a pulled out page with 'Write Now!' next to which is 'SAY IT BETTER IN A LETTER'. The back of the card is blank.
