Summary
The shirt from a Scout uniform believed to have belonged to William Straw Jnr. The set includes badge, one set of black ribbons and safety pin, one set of white ribbons with safety pin and a length of thread in the top left pocket, navy shorts, stripped belt with twist buckle and navy neckerchief, hat, water bottle, bag and a pair of sock garters. Childs collared Scout shirt, pull over head with three button top opening. Breast pocket to each side with central pleat detail and button down top flap opening. Epaulettes to both shoulders with cuffs and large slit openings to each sleeve. the back is cut to be fitted with a shoulder yolk detail. The fabric is a heavy cotton canvas in a beige/faded khaki colour. inside the collar at the back of the neck a sewn in white cotton makers label with blue embroidered text 'W. LOSEBY 38 CAROLGATE RETFORD'.
