Summary
One of fourteen pages taken from several 'THE FREE PRESS' from 1947, kept with a whole 'THE TIMES' from 1966 and a sheet from 'Worksop Guardian' from 1938. The page is dated 'Friday, July 25th, 1947' on the top right of the back, as folded. The top as the page is folded has 'Page 5: THE FREE PRESS' in the top left corner. 'Random Shots ONE can generally overhear a bit of dry humour in a crowd. Among several folk wait- ing for a bus in the neighbour- hood the other day were some of the transport company's own ser- vants. After standing for quite a time, one of these employees was heard to remark: "The only time buses are early is when people are two minutes late!" So now we know......'.
