Summary
The first of four of fourteen pages taken from several 'THE FREE PRESS' from 1947, kept with a whole 'THE TIMES' from 1966 and a sheet from 'Worksop Guardian' from 1938. The outer page folded together with three others, the front page is dated 'Friday, June 20th, 1947' on the top right of the back, as folded. The top as the page is folded has 'Page 5: THE FREE PRESS' in the top left corner. The following three pages are dated 'Friday, May 9th, 1947', 'Friday, May 16th, 1947' and 'Friday, May 23rd, 1947'. On the first page as folded; 'Random Shots IF THE PROPOSED new Palia- mentary boundaries for Not- tinghamshire are adopted, the Mansfield Division will lose Mans- field Woodhouse, which is to be placed in the Newark Division. A curious feature is that the M.P. for Mansfield, Mr. H. B. Taylor whose home is at Mansfield Woodhouse, will find himself on the Newark register. The elec- torate of the Borough of Mans- field and the Urban District of Sutton totals 64,344. Other changes are suggested in Notts.. but these will cause no worry to local residents.......'.
