Summary
The slip cover to a white drawing pin box with black print and open box, similar to that of a match box. Four sided open slip cover to go over box base, made of white card, with a tare break along the bottom long edge. The top is printed in black ink with a single line border to the edge of the graphics. A single line border within this in the top two thirds generates another box a three line oval sits within this frame with a black centre and white print 'B........ DRAWING PINS'. The remainder of the box is filled with fine vertical lines, as if drawn by hand. In the lower third there is a double line border creating another box shape with ' . WAVERLEY SERIES . ' printed in black. he top right corner is obscured by an additional white stuck on label; 'A. CRAYMER. Moorgate Hall, 149 Moorgate London, E.C.'. The two narrow sides are blank. The bottom is plain white with black text; 'MACNIVEN & CAMERON LTD WAVERLEY PEN WORKS BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND "They come as a boon and a blessing to men, The Pickwick, the Owl and the Waverley Pen." '.
