Summary
Christmas greeting card-right hand opening cream card with a cream paper insert. Front-in the upper half is a coloured picture of a black cat sitting on a rug, in front of a roaring fire. On the mantelpiece are blue and white china plates and a Toby jug. To the left of the fire is a wooden chest with a vase of holly on it. Below the picture are the words Remembrances AND ALL KIND THOUGHTS FOR A HAPPY SEASON Around the spine of the card is a pink cotton thread bow. Inside on the left page in gold print is the verse Holly on the mantle shelf A glowing fire below, Bring wishes for Happiness And all good-will bestow. Below the verse is a gold line drawing of two flowers. On the right hand page is gold print That the Good Cheer of Christmas may be in your heart and its Happiness in your home is the sincere wish of M. C. Doughty signed in black ink. Rear cream card.
