Greetings Card - Valentine padded. Front: Gold and white lace design border with scalloped edges with central oval cutaway in which is printed the verse on satin. a coloured scrap oblong border sits within the border forming a garland of pink, blue white and yellow flowers. Pale pink padded tissue inner. Verse: 'TO A MOTHER Dear mother oft with grief oppr.....d I've laid to sleep upon thy breast: For well I knew, when most distressed, My mother was my truest friend.' Rear : Embossed white lace design in white with a small central scrap of pink flowers on a bed of leaves.
