Culture - Garden peas crop best in well worked soil, which is generously manured. Sow fairly thickly from late February to mid-June in 6 inch wide drills some 2 1/2 inches deep, allowing 2-3 feet between rows. Support peas by using sticks or wire-netting - even for very dwarf kinds. Until crop is ready to pull keep soil cultivated and loose.
