Summary
Christmas Greetings Cards - one of a series of Christmas cards received by William Straw Jnr. in 1983 kept in a white envelope. Right opening card, blue with a gold border with a picture of 3 shepherds and sheep, pointing at a star in the sky. Inside left - Plain white card with printed in the bottom right hand corner - "When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy," Inside right - printed in the centre; Kings of the East followed a Star, On that first Christmas Day, leading them on from lands afar To where the baby lay May you find Peace at Christmas Underneath is handwritten in blue ink With best wishes from Ruth Beal. Back - on the bottom right hand corner in black ink is printed 30-F487/19 and underneath a circle with 17 in the centre. In the bottom right hand corner is printed - Sharpe's "CLASSIC" MADE IN ENGLAND
