Summary
Christmas Greetings Cards - one of a series of Christmas cards received by William Straw Jnr. in 1983 kept in a white envelope. the card is top opening with a full picture scene to the front. A snow covered country lane with a cottage to the left and a gentleman leading two horses. Inside top - white card with 'This card is sold in aid of the Children's Society, Old Town Hall, Kennington, London s.E.11. The Society helps deprived children in Britain' printed I black at the bottom. Inside bottom - printed in black in the centre; 'With best wishes for CHRISTMA and the NEW YEAR' under which is handwritten in blue ink 'David, Pauline and James Hind.'. Back - In the bottom left corner '850 Printed in U.K.' and in the bottom right a three pointed crown with a star above the central point and 'C 26' beneath.
