Summary
The 3 1/2 pence stamp kept in a small brown leather purse with fold under flap alongside two small pieces of folded paper with perforated edge as if taken from a stamp sheet and a small padlock key with brown string attached. The stamp is printed in burgundy with '1 1/2' in the top corners and 'THREE HALFPENCE' at the bottom. In the centre a portrait of King George V faces left beneath a crown shouldered by 'POSTAGE REVENUE' and above two sea monsters with fish tails and beaks. The stamp is creased where it has become folded in the purse over time.
