Summary
The piece of string tied to a small padlock key kept in a small brown leather purse with fold under flap, alongside two small pieces of folded paper with perforated edge and a 3 1/2 pence folded up stamp. The string is a cream cotton that has become discoloured overtime to give a brown appearance. It is tied through the large open bow of the key.
