Summary
The base to an Oxo tin, rectangular with rounded corners corroded and discoloured black with much of the gold colour surface missing. Along the long edges in black over the gold 'OXO in Cubes'. On the base an offset single line border in black containing the text; 'OXO IN CUBES THIS TIN HOLDS 6 CUBES. To make a delicious nourishing beef drink dissolve ONE OXO CUBE in a cupful of hot water. KEEP THE LID CLOSED Store in a Cool Dry Place OXO LIMITED, LONDON.' The tin contains a collection of hooks, eyes, buttons and other sewing paraphernalia. Kept in the inner tray,740792.1.3, of a sewing box 740792.1.
