Summary
Painting, watercolour and bodycolour and ink on paper, armorial bearings of the Lambert of Boyton family, early 19th century. The painting on front shows two lions and three gold rings (black/gold/white) on an escutcheon and a helm of a horse's head with wings, on the reverse, handwritten, Lambert of Boyton. Arms. Argent on a Bend engrailed between two Lions rampant Sable three Annulets Or. Crest. A Horse's Head couped Ermine Wings elevated Ermines.

Bequeathed to the National Trust along with Stourhead House, its grounds, and the rest of the contents by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947) in 1946.
