A mahogany, satinwood cross banded and holly strung linen press, English, circa 1840. Enclosed by a pair of doors and missing the interior slides, with two short drawers and two long drawers below, on plinth.
Provenance
Given to the National Trust along with Stourhead House, its grounds, and the rest of the contents by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947) in 1946.
