A mahogany fire screen, English, circa 1825 with three retractable textile lined screens held by twin supports and cheval feet with scrolled brackets with applied carved flower head roundels. With a brass handle to the top.
Provenance
Given to the National Trust along with Stourhead House, its grounds, and the rest of the contents by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947) in 1946.
