Summary
One of three giltwood pedestals - neo-classical design, the concave triangular bases with applique greek motifs, 3 philosophers heads joined by laurel festoons, on paw feet, the reeded shafts with leaf bases and spiral ribbons, circular white marble platforms with bronze urns on four satyr monopodia supports. Two said to have been brought from Fonthill Abbey, slightly altered and a third made to match.
