Watercolour on paper, Interior View of the Drawing Room at Wavendon, British (English) School. Figures are seated in the room, which is furnished with the fireplace, now in the Saloon at Stourhead, the rent table (now in the Gallery) and the 'red-veined' mahogany folding table (now Music Room); also the two Dughets (which Waagen records in 1857 - about the time of these watercolours - in 7a St James's Square). Wavendon in Buckinghamshire was acquired by the 3rd Baronet, passed to his second son, the father of the 5th Bt.
