Book: Guidebook - Small book, dark-blue hard cover. Inside cover - (A) 'from Alda Hoare to Mary Fortescue 'Souvenir' Stourhead Sept 28th 1932.' Also in Alda's writing, but deleted in pencil - 'Head Housemaid's Copy August 1928.' Guide to Stourhead, Wilts, the seat of Sir Henry Hoare, Bart, by George Sweetman, fifth edition with ten photographs and a map. Seventy three numbered pages. Many underlinings and notes by Alda in 'the Mansion', chapter, beginning on page 51. Loose inside back cover;- double leaf of four photographs 1)From the entry to gardens; 2)Temple of Flora; 3)The mahogany library table; 4)The picture gallery.
