Summary
The base of a rosewood breakfront chiffonier, English, circa 1850. With a mirror-back shelved superstructure, the frieze applied with roundels and enclosed by four doors, each with a panel painted to simulate figured rosewood and flanked by projecting turned columns, standing on a plinth.

Purchased by the National Trust in 1980.
