Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on paper, Henry Turner Bushby (1794-1838), after John Cox Dillman Engleheart (1783 - Tunbridge Wells 1862). Mid 19th century. Rectangular. Half-length portrait of a young man turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, in a blue double-breasted coat with gilt buttons, cream waistcoat, white bow tie. Brown eyes, mousey hair brushed forward, ageda bout 20. Sky background. Marked on reverse 'Henry Turner Bushby 1794-1838, Judge in the Madras Civil Service'.
