Portrait miniature, oil on vellum, Mr Lobb, attributed to Nicholas Dixon (c.1645 – c.1708).Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a man, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a blue cloak fastened with a brooch on his right shoulder, lace cravat. Brown eyes, long brown wig, fresh complexion. Dark background. Brother of Lobb Chute. (One of nine family miniatures in a mahogany case NT/VYN/F/31.)
