Summary

A pale leather gentleman's toilet case with carrying handle set between the two lockable sprung catches - double lever lock - on the front face. The interior fitted around the sides and in the lid with pockets, pouches, etc and one free leather pocket en suite - see Misc 246. The initials JBP on the lid. Harrods Ltd, London SW - stamped on the front face under the lid overhang. Belonging to JBW Pennyman. Gentleman's toilet case JBP.

Provenance

Pennyman collection devised in October 1961 to the National Trust under the terms of Col. JBW Pennyman's Will.
