Summary
The textile elements of a mahogany four poster bed, the moulded cornice supported by fluted columns with stiff acanthus leaf capitals; ribbed and ball feet. complete with double mattress and box base. Textiles of floral chintz: printed glazed cotton, originally having a red-coloured background and vertical stripes of flowers and leaves; roses and peonies in lemon, blue grey and brown, entwined with a ribbon.
