Summary
Miners pick (or Mandrill). Steel head with two pick points (ie no adze). Relatively short wooden handle with drilled hole towards the end - possibly for a leather thong.
Provenance
Found in the garage of the caravan site (Dolaucothi Estate) August 2018. Unknown history but is a pick or Mandrill used for mining (short handle and double point head). Different head design to the picks from the Halkyn collection. Possibly dates from the 1930s mining works or possibly the Victorian mine.
