Summary
A white linen apron, large enough to fit an adult. The bib has a halter neck made of a strip of cloth down each side to the waist and ends at the strip of decorative lace. The waist band, which narrows away from the centre, would encircle the waist and fastens with a button and button hole. The apron is gathered where it joins the waist band, the full width of the material is used and has a simple hem at the bottom edge. On the front right-hand side of the apron there is a large pocket with a U shaped opening. A simple three band decorative strip mirrors the point on the waistband.
