Summary

A varnished wooden box which opens on hinges into two equal halves. It has a turned wooden carrying handle painted black. On the exterior of one half is a transfer image of a lion surrounded by 'Lion Company Ltd, Lion Compact Duplicator, Typewriter Supplies, British'. Inside one half is an ink duplicator, surrounded by a mitred wooden frame (one side of which has become detached). The corresponding ink roller is now missing. In between the two halves is a hinged wooden framed silk screen and wooden backing plate which fasten together with a metal clasp. In between the silkscreen and the backing plate is a sheet of paper covered in black ink. Inside the other half of the box is a black and green cardboard box on the lid of which is printed 'Made By Kores, Harlow, England, kores, Duplicator Stencils'. Inside this box are six yellow sheets, each printed with the following paper sizes 'A6', 'A5', 'Octavo', 'Quarto', 'A4' and 'Foolscap'. There is also a printed sheet entitled 'Pegasus Duplicator Stencils'. There is also a red and yellow cardboard box on which is printed with 'Swallow Brand Stencil Correcting Fluid, British Made'. This box contains a glass bottle of pink fluid. There is also a yellow printed instructions leaflet entitled 'Swallow Brand Cabinet Duplicator Compact And Portable'. Total number of items is 13.
