Sudbury Hall, Derbyshire (Accredited Museum)
A brass dog collar with three elliptical holes which offer three options for size and fixing, and an additional hasp for attaching a leash. A sliding loop locks the fixture. There is evidence of a leather lining and a solder repair. The outside face has the engraved inscription 'E Bates, Sudbury, Derby'.
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr George Bates in July 1985.
