Summary
A square tin for 'Macfarlane Lang and Co's Biscuits'. Painted or printed maroon, each side has a cream diamond shape and a cream rectangle. Inside each are pink roses and blue harebells. The corners of the tin have been cut away and replaced with a narrow facet of metal. These narrow facets are decorated similarly. There is a looped, hinged handle and a lid which can no longer be removed. In the centre of the lid is a circular hole.

On the underside of the tin: 'GLASGOW LONDON/ MACFARLANE LANG AND CO'S/ APPOINTMENT TO HIS MAJESTY THE KING/ BISCUITS/ ESTABLISHED 1817'
