Summary
An electric iron with a smooth metal plate. It has a turned wooden handle, painted black. Behind the handle is an oval shaped holder housing the two pin socket. Attached to the other end of the plug is a black and white striped flex. A metal bracket with bent back metal feet is attached to the base of the iron, allowing it to be stood upright.

Label on the underside of the handle: 'Volts 230/250 Watts 45 [0]/ JUBILEE/ BRITISH MADE' On the plug: 'BSS 562/ MADE IN ENGLAND/ 250v./ 7.5A. MAX.'
