Summary
A patchwork runner made of many different coloured scraps of silk and damask or brocade each edged with herringbone embroidery stitch and blanket stitch. There are different shades of beige, cream, red, blue, brown and black. The scraps are sewn onto a canvas and the whole is lined with a blue and white fabric with a foliate decoration. Several of the silk scraps are badly worn.
