Summary
A World War I woman's brown army felt hat. It has a high crown with a slightly flared brim. Around the crown is stitched a brown ribbon band. At the front is a gold coloured metal badge. This is oval shaped with entwined leaves surrounding the letters 'W./A.A./C.' This is attached on the inside with a double metal bar. Above the ribbon band at either side is a small brown leather button. These are attached to a leather strap on the underside fastening with two metal buckles. There is moth damage on the underside of the brim.
