Summary
A white marble bust of Frances Maria Warren on a pillar of yellow, red-veined marble. Facing slightly left in lace and drapery. Inscribed on front 'MARIA FRANCES, WIFE OF 4TH BARON VERNON, M.1802, D.1837'. Two inscriptions on rear - 'RIGHT HON. FRANCES MARIA WARREN' and 'LADY VERNON 1829'
Provenance
Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to The National Trust in 1967.
