Summary
A large knife cleaner with a wooden barrel having brass fittings, an iron and wooden handle and placed on an iron stand. There is a cardboard label with directions for use on the front of the barrel, at the base of this is written 'Geo Kent Ltd' with the address 'of 199 High Holborn London'. On the front of the wooden barrel is an iron badge with the name and address of the manufacturer; F Heyningen, Late, Stoneman and Co, 3 Posternrow, Tower Hill, E.C. Over the name is a crest containing a Saint George's cross and a crown. On the left of the cross is a lion and on the right is a unicorn. On both sides of the iron stand there is the name of the maker 'Hayningen, Late, Stoneman and Co' and on the lower arch of the stand is the word 'London'.
