Summary
A Dutch neo-classical armoire with two moulded panelled doors, each with four paterae at the panel corners; with a broken pedimented top centred by an empty pedestal supported by swags; the upper part flanked at each front corner by fluted rounded pilasters with gilt metal bases and capitals, three drawers below fitted with gilt metal handles with swags and oval medallions, flanked at each front corner by fluted pilasters.
Provenance
Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to The National Trust in 1967.
