Summary
A pair of Kentian rectangular giltwood side tables, the friezes carved with acanthus foliage and the four scrolled foliated supports carved at the angles with putti masks and united by floral garlands suspended from ribbon ties and swagged drapery ties surmounted by veined red and grey marble slabs.
Provenance
Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to The National Trust in 1967.
