Summary
An oval meat plate (one of a set of three). Part of a cream ceramic dinner service with a gold edge, also consisting of; six round plates with a 10 inch diameter (ba-bf), six round plates with a nine inch diameter (ca-cf), six round plates with an eight inch diameter (da-df), one round gravy boat (e) and two round vegetable dishes with matching lids (fa-fd). On the base is the maker's stamp which reads 'Alfred Meakin, England, Royal Marigold'.
