Summary
One of seven bleu-de-roi and gilt stands for a Sevres surtout-de-table of a boar hunt (see SUD/C/9-12). Mark indicates reign of Napoleon III (from 1852). Presented to the 6th Lord Vernon by the French government.
Provenance
Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to The National Trust in 1967.
