Nail file - Part of an Edwardian silver mounted manicure set in original case, comprising (i) case, (ii-iii) two silver capped glass pots, (iv) a chamois nail buffer, (v) a cuticle implement, (vi) a pair of scissors with straight blades, (vii) a pair of scissors with curved blades, (viii) a small bladed knife, (ix) a file. The silver hallmarked Birmingham, 1910, maker 'H.W. Ltd'.
Provenance
the property was given to the Trust as part of the Plas yn Rhiw estate between 1950 and 1966 by the Misses Eileen, Lorna and Honora Keating in memory of their parents, John William and Constance Annie Keating.
