Summary
Print, Bennet Langton (1737-1801) April 26 1798, after George Dance, RA. Bust-length portrait of a man, side profile, sitters hair tied at nape of neck. Coat and stock. Lithograph. The original drawing by George Dance (1741-1825) dated April 28th 1798, from which this engraving was made, in in the British Museum. There is a copy at Trinity College, Oxford. The engraving was published in a volume entitled "Collection of Portraits sketched from life by George Dance RA engraved in imitation of the original drawings by William Daniell ARA" 1809. - 1944 inventory
