black on red; ‘RISING SUN/ STOVE POLISH’ and ‘Magnificent Instant Polish/ SAVES TOIL’ and ‘Size A’, and ‘RECKITT & SONS/ HULL & LONDON’ and ‘EASY WORK!/ Mix the contents with water to/ the consistency of good cream./ Use this Polish in the same way/ as ordinary Black Lead, and you/ will find that it PRODUCES A/ MOST BRILLIANT POLISH,/ WITH FAR LESS LABOUR./ The brushes glide over the grate/ without toil.’
