Summary

A black lacquered length of metal rod in round section bent back on itself and extended at a right-angle. A spike at one end and a coiled spring attached and wrapped around the doubled section sprung onto the right-angled piece which has a hinged section at its end with a hole to receive a rod attached to the spring
