Summary
'The Victor Designoscope’; a triangular column raised on a metal hoop over a (revolving) wooden disc, the upper face of which is covered in a white plasticised membrane; the disc and metal hoop fixed to a wooden plinth. The triangular column of a black plastic covered in blue faux leather; the lower half of one side open; a small circular opening in the flat triangular top.

Marks and inscriptions
Side of column: in gilt letters on one side of the column, ‘THE /VICTOR/DESIGNOSCOPE’ and ‘PATENT/APPLIED/FOR’ and MADE BY/P.K.ARM.Ltd./BELFAST’; and a red wax stamp of a union flag circumscribed within a circle and surmounted by a crown with the inscription ‘NATIONAL SCHEME/ FOR DISABLED MEN’
