Summary
A silver mounted dismountable burr walnut conductor's baton. The two halves of the stick being screwed together with a chain link within to permit dismounting and folding in half. The silver mounts with crude repousse all over wave decoration. The pommel (damaged) with an inscription in a reserved panel; 'Presented to/LADY MONTGOMERY./By the ACTON BURNELL W.I./SINGING CLASS./In grateful and affectionate/remembrance.' Marks for London, 1901.
