Summary
One of two graduated silvered domed meat covers with detachable handles and gadrooned frieze on the lower body. Engraved severally- a) the monogram CSM, b) Langton-Massingberd coat of arms and motto 'NOSCE TEIPSUM'. b) also has lobing in the body. Handles differ.
Provenance
1944, gifted to the National Trust by Field Marshal Sir Archibald and Lady Montgomery Massingberd.
