Summary
A small ebonised chest on bun feet with ten drawers surrounding a central door. Each drawer front set with an ivory panel incised with scenes of 17th century hunting and fishing and classical scenes. Various prey in different landscapes,the central door arch panel featuring a man in classical battle dress. Drawers with ripple-moulded beading and a turned knobs lined internally with hand blocked floral paper painted in red, white and green on a black ground. Dutch, late 17th century.
