Summary
Print, engraving, Emperor Napoleon I, Emperor of France (1769–1821) (after Paul Delaroche) by Jules François (1809-1861). The Emperor sitting, full length, facing slightly left sideways in a relaxed pose on a Percier and Fontaine style chair. His sword laid across a pedestal table adjacent. Maps and papers on a sofa. His great coat unbuttoned, his right arm resting over back of chair. dated 1850.
