Print, coloured lithograph, King Louis-Philippe, King of France (1773 - 1850) receiving the address of the Aldermen and Corporation of the City of London in the Rubens Room at Windsor Castle in 1848. 19th century English. Pencil inscription describes the scene. Canvasses recognisable as being by Rubens line the walls. Louis Philippe was deposed in the revolution of 1848 in France and retired to England.
