Summary
A green glass vase of cylindrical form raised on a moulded foot with broken pontil beneath and painted in colours with a king on horseback and a royal coat of arms quartering, in gold on a scarlet ground, a single headed eagle holding an orb and sceptre in its talons and a mounted knight and inscribed below in white 'Stanilaus. I/Rex Poloniae/1704'. A band of decoration below the blue painted lip of rosettes between rows of white beads and on the spreading foot gilt and white bobble decoration between solid blue and red painted bands. The king in costume of the period with a full bottom wig, ruff and breastplate with a red sash and buff coat with gilt facings over, a sword, top boots and gilt spurs.
