Summary
A jug from a table water set of clear glass c.1860. Viennese decorated with white diapered enamels with green glass balls formed as flowers and sugarwork ovals at the intersections. Gilt rims and sunflash surrounding the gothic monogram HM(for Harriet Massingberd). The set consisting of (a)an ovoid baluster jug; (b.1-2)two trumpet goblets on low stems and (c)a trefoil lobed tray with three stars cut in the base. The jug cracked.
